Welcome to the Joyful Garden!

We have a little school in Central Austin, with gardens, chickens, and a founder with a passion for nurturing the heart, creativity, and intellect of the child. Our program is tailored to the needs of the child aged 18 months to five years old, in a family-style, multi-age setting.

Each day is anchored by child-directed choices. Our routine includes gathering times, community meals, creative expression, and ample outdoor time. The Joyful Garden is a place for your child to explore - and revel in - his or her emerging autonomy.
